It was great reading this book.Filled with the really nice Malabar conversations, a parallel narration of the individual and the society.
I especially loved the part where Beeran s son comes to visit him and the agony the father goes through when the son leaves him It so beautifully portrays simple human emotions like bereavement,attachment,love,parenthood

Iam not a person to review uroob He is a legendary writer He has portrayed some of the political and social matters in uroob It is a good read but with patience as the tone he has used is that used by people in malabar

The period of this novel was way back Though the plot is not irrelevant today, it was not much fun reading it.
